The Fire Engine Floor Puzzle is made of 20 pieces of handcut, thick wood. When built the floor puzzle is approximately 40 x 60 cm big. This floor puzzle is of an image of a fire engine and its fireman busy at work. Not only is this floor puzzle great to build but it also creates many topics to talk about: what the fireman are doing?, where do they get their water from, what other things they might help in (getting a cat from the tree) and even their number plate "JUST999" creates further topics and visual memory. The Fire Engine Floor Puzzle does not have corners but it has a wavy border. This encourages the child to visualise the puzzle as part of a bigger picture and adds a different quality to the usual puzzle.
